So a few months ago I discovered the c25k app for my iPhone. Well I failed… not too miserably… but in my defense pre-surgery it was hard to get on any routine since I had about one week a month where I was healthy enough for a good workout.
I am not sure if it is my upcoming birthday, or that I have been reading all of these beautiful 20-something’s blogs, but I decided this week I want to start training again to run the Turkey Trot on November 19th.
Since I have no idea what the word “moderation” means, I went all out today with a killer workout…
and then as if that wasnt enough I hopped on my bicycle for a 2 mile jaunt.
I can barely move, but I have to admit – IT FEELS AMAZING. I honestly have probably not worked out this good since I had a personal trainer in 2008.
I also ate like a champ today – having mostly protein, very little carbs, and a TON of water. (Good thing, cause my DIY project I launched into made me sweat like I never have before)
It’s a great start to a killer workout routine and getting my weight and health under control FINALLY… now let’s see if I can move tomorrow LOL
