One of my favorite things about our house is the huge open floor plan – making it the best house to host our family’s holiday festivities. There is nothing I love more than seeing my home filled with all of the people I love the most. Being the host however also means being the cook… which we all know is not exactly my strong suit. Which is why I was excited to have the opportunity to check out the new Cooking Planit App.
Cooking Planit is a mobile app and website that provides a solution to simplify the planning, shopping and cooking process and provides home cooks with step-by-step instructions to create full meals, organizing the meal planning process, leaving every dish ready to serve at the same time. These recipes will leave the host/hostess stress free with prep, cooking and finalized meals all finished at the same time.
Cooking Planit is truly fool proof. You can create meals, save recipes, search for meal ideas… and everything has pictures!!! Totally fool proof. There are over 500 chef-tested recipes and meal pairings, so you won’t get bored eating the same things over and over. And Cooking Planit syncs your account in the cloud so that you are free to use all of your devices in any combination that works for you. For example, you can plan your meals on the web at www.cookingplanit.com, use the shopping list in your iPhone app at the grocery store and then cook using your iPad version in the kitchen. It even has voice control which allows you to move forward and backward in recipe steps without having to touch the screen while you are cooking… how cool is that?
I also love that I can set meal restrictions. Right now I am limiting dairy in my diet and with one little click it changed my entire meal plan structure to something fit just for me.
You can get Cooking Planit for your iPhone and iPad, and be sure to also check out the Cooking Planit website as well. Hosting the big holiday meal? No problem! Needing to take a dish to potluck? No problem! Wanting to surprise your sweetie with a romantic date night in? No problem! Wanting to just add something new to your usual meal plan? No problem! Cooking Planit has you covered. I think I will try my hand at this one soon…
