One of my all time favorite movies EVER is Finding Nemo. I remember taking the Teen to see it on the big screen back in 2003, so when the 3D version hit the theaters a few months ago, I was excited to get to take Midge to see it as well. Finding Nemo earned the Oscar® for Best Animated Feature Film and remains the fifth highest grossing animated film worldwide. In 2008, the American Film Institute named ―Finding Nemo‖ among the top 10 greatest animated films ever made, and it is the second highest grossing Pixar film to date (behind “Toy Story 3”). But to me, it is just where I got my favorite mantra “Just Keep Swimming.”
Disney/Pixar’s “Finding Nemo” swims into living rooms for the first time ever in high-definition Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and Digital platforms on December 4th! Immerse yourself in the wonderful underwater world of Marlin, Dori and Nemo and discover breathtaking 3D bonus features that transport you beyond your imagination!
I was thrilled to be chosen to review the new Finding Nemo 3D DVD and BluRay Combo pack, since I learned that Mike actually had not seen the movie. Back when we had Otis and Odell the turtles and I talked to them and called them “Little Dudes” I realized Mike had zero idea where that came from.
The Combo Pack comes with some awesome bonus features, besides obviously one of the best movies of all time, including the Knick Knack‖ Theatrical Short Film, tons of behind the scenes footage, and my favorite – an aquarium “screen saver” than turned my 52″ plasma television into an underwater piece of art! It was like I brought the “Ocean Room” from the Georgia Aquarium to my living room! AWESOME!
You can pick up Finding Nemo 3D at most large retailers, and be sure to check out their website, Facebook page, and Twitter. Aaannnnddd rumor has it there will be a sequel to Finding Nemo…. be. still. my. heart! I sure hope Ellen decides to join the cast again.
This movie is going to make the perfect stocking stuffer for Midge, though it is one I am sure all four of us are going to enjoy watching over and over…
