Yes, it is supposed to be Living Well Wednesday, and yes I realize it is Thursday. I was even reminded at 6am yesterday, and I still didnt get this post done. I am soooo glad we are going on vacation next week – I need it!
If it wasnt for Facebook, I dont think I could even do these posts. My days all run together so much I literally have to look back on Facebook and Twitter to figure out what has happened. It is a GOOD thing though – because honestly, everything happening in my life right now is amazing.
Business is absolutely booming! Between being interviewed for a National Magazine this week and speaking in an International Teleconference in 2 weeks, plus several other little things, Party Plan Divas is just skyrocketing. I can hardly keep up with all of the Divas who are signing up. (yes, I still manually sign them up – its more to protect my members than anything… I don’t want spammers in my community) And I am SO GLAD I figured out how to print the Diva Success System Planners without having to sit at Office Depot – because they are being ordered like crazy – some even in bulk!
My weight loss is going AMAZINGLY well. I am sitting here in a pair of jeans I thought I was never going to get in to. I am under the weight that I was when I got pregnant with Taylor. I am trying not to look at the scale as much because I think it will drive you crazy with the up-down-up-down of one pound over and over. Rather I am looking more at how my clothes are fitting – or not fitting – and getting excited about going clothes shopping very very soon. Oh, and the only thing I am doing besides working out is portion control – and even that I havent stuck to 100% of the time… like with the Cowboy Casserole… yyeeeaahhhh no “portion control” going on with that.
I hired a Personal Trainer this week which is awesome. We did just a “strength test” yesterday and I was soooo proud of myself. I pushed some serious weight around and felt really good…. of course today I can barely move but I felt great yesterday.
Home life is fantastic – we were having some trouble with the Tween (I love hormones) but we actually changed some things around here and everything seems to be much much better. Before she had “chores” she did daily in order to pay for her “extras” like her cell phone, going out with friends, etc. Well, we were fighting with her over the chores all day… so I fired her. I told her that if she argued with a boss the way she argued with me she would lose her job in a heartbeat so it was time for her to learn the way the World worked. Well, she was happy for about a day …. until she needed money. Now she has to ask to do a chore to earn money… it’s fantastic. The arguing has stopped, she is constantly asking how she can help… ahhhh, Bliss.
Other than that I have recently become addicted to Draw Something on my iPhone, so much like my Words With Friends addiction a couple months ago I am wearing my phone battery down 3 and 4 times a day.
