Welcome to another Living Well Wednesday hosted by Natalie from OneBusyWAHM.com! Each week we get together to chat about our goals and resolutions and stay accountable to each other. You can join in with your own blog or vlog and then link up on Natalie’s blog!
This week I did not have to look back to see what I did – so that is a good sign in my book.
I am still trying to keep up with everything that has happened since I was a speaker on The Mind Aware TeleSeries for Direct Sales Consultants. Never in a million years did I think that *I* was going to be a speaker on there – or that it would increase my business to nearly DOUBLE what it was before. I knew it was going to be good for business, but of my gosh – I didnt think it was going to be this good. I am actually having to hire someone to help me!
The rest of my time is being taken up getting ready for Brandcation in 23 days. I can no longer open my TV stand in my office because the whole back of the room is piled up with swag. Trisha’s house is just as full… we are going to have to rent a UHaul to get all of this to Portofino.
Mike and I went on a real date on Saturday night down to the Ice Flyers game which was fantastic. So good in fact that we are going again this Saturday night. The Flyers are in the championship so its pretty exciting. I love going to live sports events. We hope to get to a Wahoos Game soon! (did you see that video?!)
Sunday I had a houseful of people over for Easter lunch. We had a ball. I “slaved” over lunch – picking up a Honey Baked Ham LOL It is always nice to have everyone here though. Nothing makes me happier than having everyone I love under the same roof. Makes me miss those who are not here though.
The excitement of Brandcation plus the decision to change has me more motivated than ever with getting into shape. I am purposely not getting in front of any cameras until Brandcation so I don’t psych myself out. It’s enough pressure thinking about the cameras that will be there. I am happy with how the weight loss and strength training is going though. I got schooled by the TRX bands again this week, and I am still hobbling a bit from maxing out on calf raises, but it feels so good to be this sore!
Sidenote: Mr President, if you are reading this, I have figured out how to get information from terrorists. It’s called Calf Raises. If the actual exercise does not break them after about two minutes – be patient. The next day will have them spilling everything they know for the chance to sit in some ice.
The highlight of my week though came with the news that I get to go tomorrow to pick up this baby:
Yes, my love finally caved and is ok with me bringing this baby kitten home. In fact I am bringing her and her two siblings home. I have found a home for one, but need to find a home for the other little girl. So if you are reading this and you are within driving distance and want a baby hand fed (yeah, like we are still giving them kitten milk from a bottle but of course will wean them to food) litter trained kitten – let me know!
I can’t tell you how excited I am about this little thing. I have always been a cat person but my exhusband was deathly allergic (I should have taken that as a sign), so I havent been able to have a kitty since 2002. I have had Indi – a chihuahua who I joke is part cat all the time – but I am excited to have a kitty in the house again. I bought out Petsmart yesterday with all the fun pink kitty stuff, so I am super stoked about bringing them home.
Sooo… all that to say I have had a PHENOMENAL week!!! I have to say, 2012 is shaping up to be the best year ever!
How was your week?
