Happy FEBRUARY! What a crazy month January was! I am still reeling from everything I did last month. Honestly I hope that all of 2012 goes the way January has business wise – I LOVE being that busy!
This was a fantastic week with highs and lows – but even the lows had a silver lining. Natalie and I completed our “pact” to go four weeks wine-free in January. I actually still havent picked up a glass even when Natalie and Mike conspired together to hide a bottle for me to find in my office as a surprise in celebration of our pact being completed lol
I am continuing to focus on “portion control” and have been amazed with the results. It just shows that all along I have been eating the right foods – just way too much of them.
Business has been booming. I am not sure if it is the time of year or maybe someone posted a review on an active site or something, but people having been joining Party Plan Divas in troves! I love being this busy though – I actually prefer it. Boredom drives me insane… I start tweaking with blog designs and stuff when I get bored lol
The low of the week was losing our Dazzle on Friday. She passed away Friday morning after several nights of being up and in pain during the night. She was 16 years old which even the vet said is longer than most Golden Retrievers live. I think this was an easier passing than with Sly because it was more expected, and because we knew she was hurting and were at peace knowing she is no longer in pain. The house feels pretty empty now though. A constant reminder than they are both gone. We still have our two little guys, but we realize now just how little they really are in this great big house lol
Saturday Mike won another tournament which is terrific of course. I was glad he got away from the house for a while. I spent the day with my friend Trisha and her handsome little man. It was nice to spend a day doing a whole lot of nothing lol I need to have days like that more often.
And of course we are looking forward to this Sunday with Superbowl and another tournament. My parents are coming over to watch the game on the huge TV I got for Mike for Christmas – I think my Dad was a little jealous. I have some fun stuff planned with the girls so I am looking forward to just a nice weekend at home with family.
How was your week? Do you have plans for Superbowl?
