YAY for posting this one Wednesday this week! Last week we were Spring Break’ing at the Beau Rivage so I forgot to post. It was an awesome week though! The weather was kinda crazy – but watching a storm roll in off the Gulf of Mexico when you are 22 stories in the air is a sight everyone should see. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The girls absolutely fell in love with the place. Or maybe they just fell in love with the Room Service – I am not sure which.
(Ok can I admit that I did ^ that part … about 5 hours ago, and it is now nearly midnight and I am just getting back to it?!! JEEZ what a week!!)
Happy Wednesday – for another few minutes anyway!
My week has been…. well, you can probably guess. I laughed this week when I looked back at how things were last year and I thought I was busy then. Business has boomed in ways I cant even put into words and I am still reeling from a live teleseries that I did yesterday which has gotten the most amazing response I could have ever dreamed. (If you want to hear what my “real” job is, you can listen to me for about another 24 hours here.) Since about an hour after the call was over my phone has not stopped ringing, my email I can not keep up with, my poor shopping cart got clogged up today from too many people trying to order stuff at the same time, and I called to place an order for planners – only to have to call back three hours later to double it… I mean WOW.
My workout/weightloss/healthy stuff has been going amazingly well. My personal trainer is awesome and has been kicking my butt every time I go in there. It seems like he is there every time I go too – so I never get to cheat – HA! The scale isnt moving as quickly as I would like, but I have to keep reminding myself that while I am slinging those big ole weights around that I am burning the fat and replacing with muscle. Plus my jeans are getting more and more loose and honestly, I could not care less what the scale says, as long as I can rock a cute pair of jeans.
I am steady working on Brandcation which I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT for! I have begun ordering all kinds of fun goodies for my Roomies – I LOVE being a “Condo Mom” and getting to spoil the ladies staying in my condo! I also spent a half hour on the phone with one of the main sponsors today which was fantastic. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when someone here in Pensacola really grasps the power of Social Media!! I run into people all the time that “don’t get into that Facebook stuff” and I just give them a blank stare and silently take a poll for how much longer their doors will be open.
The girls are doing fantastically well – the Tween is pushing for more and more freedom which I am somewhat struggling with – but she is SUCH a better kid than I was at this age, so I have to keep reminding myself that she is NOT ME. I may still need to keep a defibrillator on hand though.
Midge is going on her first Field Trip next month. My babies are getting so big. She is so excited she can hardly stand it. She is at the stage where she is reading E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G, so I am having to explain signs and cards and stuff all day long. It’s fun though. And she has replaced her “cave man drawings” with little love notes left all over the house. Thankfully I can interpret most of them.
Mike is doing great – he played (and placed) in a golf tournament last weekend. I got to sit in the Club House and sip cocktails with one of the other wives. THAT’S how I play golf. It was absolutely one of the most gorgeous days Pensacola has ever seen.
This next week is even busier than the last but I am so excited about all that I have going on. Between wrapping up Brandcation details, my Mom coming into town, a major business meeting, 30+ hours worth of coaching calls (seriously), my Grandmother coming into town, Mike playing a huge tournament, and stuff planned to play with the girls all weekend – oh yeah, that’s JUST the next FOUR DAYS– it’s going to be a whirlwind. But… that’s how I like it.
How was your week?
