One of my all time favorite movies EVER is Finding Nemo. I remember taking the Teen to see it on the big screen back in 2003, so when the 3D version hit the theaters a few months ago, I was excited to get to take Midge to see it as well. Finding Nemo earned the Oscar® for Best Animated Feature Film and remains the fifth highest grossing animated film worldwide. In 2008, the American Film Institute named ―Finding Nemo‖ among the top 10 greatest animated films ever made, and it is the second highest grossing Pixar film to date (behind “Toy Story 3″). But to me, it is just where I got my favorite mantra “Just Keep Swimming.”

As the final days of school tick by I am already getting super excited about the Summertime with the girls.
Yep, I am that crazy Mom that looks as forward to Summer as the kids do.
Since I work from home I have the ability to HAVE a Summer – and I plan on packing this year full of Beach Days, River Days, and for the days that are just TOO hot to be outside – Movie Marathon Days!

Finding Nemo 3D In Theaters This Fall

One of my all time favorite Disney Pixar movies is Finding Nemo. I have probably watched it a hundred times, and know most of the dialogue by heart. Ellen Degenerous was absolutely fantastic and I have followed her ever since the movie came out originally in 2003 when it won the Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature and at the time of its release was the highest grossing G-rated film of all time. I – as well as just about everyone I know – has since called every clown fish “Nemo” and every blur tang “Dory.” Not to mention we have all channeled our inner Crush with some “dddduuuuuddddeeeee…”
On September 14, Finding Nemo will be back in theaters – now in 3D! Check out the newly released trailer:

Now I have been annoyed lately that ALL movies seem to be going 3D, but this one I am totally excited about. Although I am fearful I may need a Dramamine to get through some of the scenes, I am totally excited to get “into the ocean” with some of my favorite characters.
Oh… and I am sure my girls will want to go see it too.
