My daughters are 7 years apart. Yes, on purpose. I am not the kind of mom who could handle two little ones, and I am woman enough to admit that. I highly commend the women of the world who can have two in diapers or two potty training or whatever. I knew that I was not the kind of mom who could handle that well.
So I chose to have my two girls seven years apart, which makes for a pretty humorous household. I have one learning to write her ABC’s, the other learning about the Birds and the Bees. One who loves Dora the Explorer and the other who has her eyes on my old Ford Explorer.
I am amazed daily at how completely different they are. The Teen is very reserved, enjoys one on one time and is perfectly happy to have a good book and a bowl of popcorn. The Midge however has never met a stranger and wants to be the center of attention every microsecond.
I will let you guess which one is more like her mother.
