What Magazines Do You Subscribe To?

This weekend Trisha and I spent ample time perusing airport giftshops while heading to the Little League World Series in Pennsylvania for the Camp Honda Event.  We spent most of that time checking out the dozens of magazines – some of which that we did not even know existed.   Sure there were the usuals – People, Us Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone… but then we discovered a few we actually had to purchase because they were so full of great information – like Clean Eating and Shop Smart.

Now, I am a minimalist and usually would never want to buy a bunch of magazines, much less get a magazine subscription, but some of the new ones I saw I absolutely had to have.  I don’t know if maybe only certain magazines are published in certain locations – and true to form Pensacola is way behind the time – but there is some really great literature out there!  Like how did I not know there is a “Home Business Magazine”…

Home Business magazine covers every facet of the growing, dynamic home based business market. Its cutting edge editorial on business operations, sales, home office, franchising, business opportunities, network marketing, mail order, and the Internet helps readers select and manage a home based business. Home Business Magazine is part of the Business family of magazines. It is generally sold to individuals and businesses and quite often can be found in a reception room or waiting room of a company or a professional office like a dentist, doctor, health club, gym, or beauty and hair salon. A full year magazine subscription to Home Business Magazine includes issues delivered right to your mailbox.

How have I missed this!?!?

Needless to say I not only filled my arms with magazines at the airport, but I grabbed the little subscription cards for several more as well.   Trisha told me I could get magazine subscription deals online, which has just added to my new obsession with getting my hands on every awesome magazine out there.

So I have to ask – what magazines are you subscribed to?

‘Cause I am obviously missing out…

Comments

  1. I get whole living, The Autism File and Living. My hubby gets this cool one called Draft all about beer, and we get the Wine spectator.

  2. I have cut my magazine subscriptions way down. I used to pile them on the coffee table until I read them; but that pile kept growing & my time just wasn’t keeping up! I was feeling guilty–money wasted, so I had a hard time throwing them away.
Finally, I just stopped renewing. Now I only get Country Life and Oprah; and I’m reconsidering those 2 also.
I do buy 3 or 4 when I’m on trips though–magazines are GREAT to read on the airplane, in the airport lounge, by the pool….
