Last month I took the family to Kissimmee for a weekend of fun to celebrate an amazingly successful Summer... and to thank them for being so good while I traveled the country 🙂 We decided to surprise the girls with the news of the trip on the Teens birthday... it went a little something like this:
For months all we talked about was our trip, and all of the fun things we were going to do when we got there. As a kid some of my favorite memories were of my one and only cousin and I spending days at Disney World and Sea World, and I was so excited to get to share that same experience with my family. Before we even left town I purchased our tickets from Kissimmee Guest Services so I would not have to worry about standing in line while the girls bounced around with excitement waiting to get in the door. Since KGSTickets.com has a Low Price Guarantee, I knew I was getting the best price and it was convenient. Can't beat that. Kissimmee Guest Services has tickets for Walt Disney World, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Wet-N-Wild, Blue Man Group, Kennedy Space Center, Gatorland, Boggy Creek Airboat Rides, Fun Spot, Arabian Nights, Pirates Dinner Adventure and Medieval Times - they truly are your "one stop shop" for everything you need to plan the perfect Disney Vacation Package.

The girls were practically vibrating with excitement as we pulled in to the gates of Disney. It began to sprinkle rain but that did not damper their excitement... only caused my hair to take on a life of its own. The Teen said it just looked like Mufasa and since that is my favorite Disney character, I was safe... thanks, kid.
We rode the ferry across to the Magic Kingdom and embarked on what will be known as one of the absolute Best Days Of My Life.

Midge fell in love with the roller coasters right away. While I was trying to do the nice, easy rides, they were begging for Splash Mountain. We did take the time to ride the carousel that I remember riding as a kid, and then ventured over to Fantasy Land where we rode Under The Sea - the new Little Mermaid attraction. But the pull to Frontier Land was just too great - so we hopped aboard the Walt Disney World Railroad and rode all the way around the park to Frontier Land... where we bounced back and forth between Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain until we just about couldnt take it any more. We were soaked and hungry. It was awesome.

We decided to grab a bite to eat at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. The food was amazing. They said that their restaurant was the second busiest restaurant on property - and I could tell why. I had a grilled chicken salad that is nearly worth driving back for. It was delicious. Midge also got a rootbeer float in a signature Pecos Bill mug that she has been using ever since.
After lunch we strolled around just enjoying the sights. There is something so magical about Disney World, we loved every moment of just being there. After nearly seven hours of playing, we decided to call it a day and head back to our rental home to rest our legs in the hot tub - knowing we would be walking all day the next day as well... but not without the infamous "family pic" in front of Cinderella's castle.

I told you my hair was big.
Thank you so much to Kissimmee Guest Services for having great priced Disney World Tickets that I could buy online quickly and easily. You truly helped me have the best day ever with my family.
