There is a resurgence in the popularity of gin cocktails - and it is no wonder. Gin has a much more distinct, herbal flavor than vodka, which makes it easy to mix with simple ingredients for a cocktail that anyone would love.
Gray Whale Gin is not only a delicious, smooth gin, but every bottle supports an amazing cause. Inspired by a trip to Big Sur where Marsh and Jan Mokhtari saw a gray whale and her calf making their way through McWay Falls, Gray Whale Gin became more than just a mission to make a great bottle of spirits.
"Every bottle of Gray Whale Gin supports Oceana, protecting and restoring the world's oceans so that Gray Whales will continue to make that epic journey for another 30 million years." That is a cause I can get behind.
Gray Whale Gin mixes perfectly to make the best gin cocktails around - or you can sip it all by itself. The smooth flavor puts the "taste of California" right in your glass with carefully selected botanicals that are sourced from sustainable organic farms, or wild foraged along the migration path of the gray whale.
With just a few ingredients you can make delicious gin cocktails that will wow any crowd. Like how fun are these Gray Whale Gin on the Rock-ets!?
Looking for the best sugar-free Jello Shots recipe for your next party? These Keto Jello Shooters will be a crowd favorite.
Jello Shots are super fun and easy party drinks that everyone loves. You can make Jello Shots in a variety of different flavors - or you can even mix the flavors to make your own varieties.
I have recently discovered Simply Delish Jel Desserts which are perfect for making sugar free jello shots! Use the promo code LYNSEY to save 10%. The Peach is an absolute must try!
Jello Shots are an economical party cocktail too. You can get 100 Jello Shot Cups from Amazon for less than $10.
These Sugar-Free Jello Shots have a little gummy bear inside - just for fun! I love the Smart Sweets Gummy Bears because they taste great... without the "side effect" of most sugar free gummy bears.
A few things to note - each 6oz box of Jello makes approximately 20 Jello Shots. If each guest has four Jello Shots, this recipe makes enough for five guests. The Simply Delish Jels are smaller, and make about 6 Jello Shots per box.
Also note that the carbs in this recipe come from sugar alcohols and Sugar-Free Gummy Bears have also been known to cause an upset stomach - so keep that in mind when you decide if you want to include the sugar-free gummy bears.

Are you looking for the best low carb cocktail to serve this St Patrick's Day? Check out this super easy and delicious Ginger Lime Mojito!
With St Patrick's Day coming up this weekend I have been looking for a way to join in the festivities... without breaking away from my keto lifestyle.
Yes, I will admit, one of the reasons I am such a big fan of Keto over other eating plans is that you can still indulge a bit from time to time on adult beverages, and while my typical "whiskey and diet" is a good choice, I wanted something a little different for the holiday.
This Ginger Lime Mojito is a twist on a traditional Keto mojito. An easy Low Carb Cocktail is made with one of my favorite mixers - Sparkling Ice - which has zero calories and zero carbs but tons of flavor! And let's be real... I will be drinking this far beyond St Patrick's Day.
And while I save indulging in my favorite sweet vino now only for special occasions, I do still love an adult beverage pretty regularly. My newest favorite - the Keto Mojito.
I am only a little embarrassed to admit that I believe a good part of my success with keto is in part to still be able to have the occasional cocktail. I am Moscato Mom after all.
Now let me begin by saying there is a school of thought that NO alcohol can be considered keto... and I respect that.
But I also feel like in order for any lifestyle to work, it has to be one that you can effectively do for the rest of your life... and for me, that is going to involve some cocktails.
So for that reason, I work my occasional cocktail into my macros... and have still been successful. It is a win-win.
I have never been a fan of eggnog. That is until I discovered Coquito - Puerto Rican Coconut Eggnog that has a totally different flavor and consistency and is absolutely delicious.
And I like mine a little strong... so it's dangerously delicious. But hey - its only a few times a year, right?! This year I teamed up with Blue Chair Bay for Blogtender Nation to concoct recipes with their premium blend rums, and I knew I had to make Coquito - it was PERFECT.
This Coquito recipe is egg free. There are tons of Coquito recipes that you can find with egg online that would all be great with the Blue Chair Bay Spiced Coconut Rum I am sure - but for this one - I went egg free.
I also put whipped cream on mine... because it is pretty and tastes great - even though my Puerto Rican best friend let me know that was most definitely NOT traditional... to each their own, amiright!?
It does need to chill in the fridge for a few hours though - so be sure to mix it up before your Christmas Party begins - because once you get that first taste, you are going to want to sip it all party long.
Coquito is smooth and savory, and the Blue Chair Bay Coconut Spiced Rum gave it just that perfect little extra kick to bring it all together.
Coquito Recipe
Ingredients
1 12oz can evaporated milk
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 15oz can sweetened cream of coconut
1 14oz can coconut milk
3 cups Blue Chair Bay Coconut Spiced Rum
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
whipped cream (optional)
Blend all ingredients together in a large blender. If you do not have a blender large enough, you can make it in small batches and pour together into a pitcher.
Seal tightly and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Shake well and then serve ice cold straight with cinnamon topping and whipped cream if you would like.
If there are leftovers (probably not, but just sayin) they will keep for about a week if sealed tightly in the fridge. Make sure to shake well before serving.
Blue Chair Bay is a collection of premium-blended rums by singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney. When Kenny Chesney asked, "How can I bottle this up?" he went looking for the last of the great authentic beachside distilleries.
From down on the waterline in Barbados comes Blue Chair Bay® Rum, beach made and beach aged for when you want to kick back and let time fly.
You can purchase Blue Chair Bay Premium Rums from your local liquor store or enjoy a cocktail at your favorite watering hole. And check out the Blue Chair Bay Facebook Page for even more recipes!
Disclosure: I received a bottle of Blue Chair Bay for the purpose of this review - all opinions are my own.

So since becoming an owner of a coffee shop, I have really fallen in love with espresso. Mike says I am well on my way to becoming a total coffee snob, but I am ok with that. Few things make me happier than the strong bitterness of a hot cup of espresso. But while I like it black most of the time, we do have flavors at Java Hut, so when I was offered the opportunity to work with Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur, I knew just exactly what I would have to make.
Shake Kerrygold and vodka over ice to chill and strain into glass. Top with whipped cream. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur is made with grass fed cows milk that all Kerrygold products are known for. Their Irish Cream Liqueur is smooth and creamy and can be sipped alone or paired with your favorite liquors for a one of a kind treat. Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur offers the finest blend of natural Irish cream, aged Irish whiskey and luxurious chocolate for a flavor that is unmatched.
Irish Cream is one of those flavors you simply can not get enough of. Paired with espresso it makes the perfect cocktail for the coffee lover in your life.

¼ c Spiced Cranberry Simple Syrup
¾ c Bare Mixer's Pomegranate Cranberry Cosmo
¼ c Bare Mixer's Margarita
¾ c Silver Tequila
½ c Patron Citronage or Grand Marnier
Cinnamon Sticks
Sugared Cranberries
Green sugar for rimming glasses
For Spiced Cranberry Simple Syrup
¾ c water
⅔ c agave nectar
2 tablespoon whole allspice
2 tablespoon whole cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
One 2" fresh nob of ginger, peeled and sliced
2 c fresh cranberries, rinsed
Instructions:
For Simple Syrup
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and stir over low heat until combined.
Raise heat and simmer the mixture for about 5-6 minutes or until the cranberries start to split.
Once most have split remove the pan from the heat and cover with a lid. Let sit for 2 hours for the flavors to infuse
. After the two hours strain the mixture into a jar using a mesh strainer, pressing the mixture against the strainer to extract all of the flavor
. Keep in a resealable container and chill completely until ready to use.
For Margaritas
Dip the rim of the glasses in a shallow bowl of the simple syrup and then immediately into a shallow bowl of green dyed sugar. Let dry completely.
Once dry fill the glasses with ice. In a cocktail shaker with ice add 4 tablespoon of the spiced cranberry simple syrup, the tequila, orange liqueur, Bare Mixer's Pomegranate Cranberry Cosmo and Bare Mixer's Margarita.
Cover and shake well then strain into the 4 glasses.
Taste and add more simple syrup if desired. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and sugared cranberry skewers.
