Leaving the salon after being introduced to Miracurl
Leaving the salon after being introduced to Miracurl

Last month I went to the salon to get my hair done, and my stylist asked if I wanted my hair curled.  I told her my hair "never holds a curl" so it was pointless.  That is when she introduced me to Miracurl - a new product from Babyliss. She curled my hair and I absolutely fell in love with it and had to have one. I came home and looked it up - and Mike reminded me that my birthday was only 3 weeks away... code word for "let me get that for you for your birthday since I am at a complete loss or what to get."  Done.

Yesterday was my birthday and it arrived via UPS this morning.  I immediately snatched it out of the box and put it on Instagram.  (Isn't that what we all do?) Anyway, the picture was met with a bit of... negativity.  And then a challenge to video me using it for the first time.

SO - here it is.  The video of me using my Miracurl for the very first time:

So to all of the nay sayers, the Miracurl DOES work and do exactly what I wanted it to.  You can even change the tightness of the curl AND the direction - making it even more natural looking.  I haven't played with it much as I finished my hair and ran to post this review, but the more I play and the more I learn, the more I will share 🙂

Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way shape or form for the above review.  In fact I wasnt even asked to do it except from some skeptical friends after sharing the picture.  The above links DO go to Amazon, but are NOT affiliate links.   I just didnt know where else to send people to buy it since Babyliss doesnt have an American link.

Wow! Yes I was your challenger because I love products like this, but they do scare me and I couldn't wrap my head around how that was going to work. Im thinking this would be super quick and easy for my little girls little bum length super long dance hair. Thanks for the video!

That's actually kinda cool. Seems like it would take forever to do all of your hair though. And how do you do the back of your head?

it took about half the time it normally takes with a curling iron - so maybe 20 minutes to do my whole head? And no - since the thing doesnt get hot, its pretty easy to even do the back - you dont have to worry about grabbing it "blindly" and burning your hand lol

I've not even heard of the Miracurl. My daughters hair is really thick and though it has a lot of body, it won't hold a curl for more than a couple hours. I'd love to give the Miracurl a try and see how it worked.

My hair has issues with curls, too. I found that product at the housewares show that I loved but now can't remember the name of it... plus this seems 1000 x easier!
