Growing up in Florida I admit I was a bit spoiled with fresh produce. As a young girl, I remember my late grandfather going outside to pick fresh oranges and grapefruit from his fruit trees for our breakfast and then again at night for a variety of veggies that would accompany our dinner. Papa had a huge garden that had the best tasting fruits and vegetables anywhere. Everything from beans to cabbages to peppers - Papa had quite the garden. And whether we were visiting for Spring Break, Summertime, or Christmas, Papa's garden was always full. Now as an adult I can still remember how delicious Papa's fresh produce was, and I always look for the Fresh From Florida label to get that same great taste year round. Florida Farmers make it easy to have fresh delicious food all year long.

Fresh From Florida fruits and vegetables are so delicious they make enjoying your favorite dishes a breeze. In fact most of the time I only need two or three ingredients to make something incredible. My all time favorite - a simple Fresh From Florida fruit parfait! I use my favorite vanilla yogurt, some granola, and whatever Fresh From Florida berries I am in the mood for! Voila! The girls absolutely love this for breakfast as well and I can feel good about sending them off to school with a healthy delicious meal full of vitamins and minerals to help them do their best. These Fresh From Florida blueberries were so sweet and tart we enjoyed this deliciousness for breakfast and dessert!

Most people think of fresh fruits during the Spring and Summertime - but here in Florida we know that it is actually the Winter that has some of the best tasting produce. Our mild climate and rich farmland allow our farmers to grow all kinds of deliciousness every month of the year!
