We are not big fans of candy here at the Moscato Household. In fact, we have a large bucket on top of our fridge with candy in it… from Halloween… two years ago. We just aren’t big on candy. So as yet another Halloween approached, we were forced with the dilemma – buy more candy that we may or may not hand out? Or buy something else that even if we do not hand all of it out, we would actually ENJOY having leftovers of?
Glitzi Globes and Trash Pack are awesome little toys that can be handed out in lieu of candy at Halloween. They are perfect for kids like mine who arent a big fan of candy. Also, I think my favorite part is that they are a “safe” handout – so many children I know have allergies to nuts and sugar and artificial colors and stuff… with Glitzi Globes and Trash Pack toys, I know I am giving every kid something they will love and get to enjoy – even with food allergies.
This year we had the opportunity to review Glitzi Globes and Trash Pack toys for an alternative Halloween treat. Since we were going to be at Disney World for Halloween,
Midge “Merida” took them to school for her class, as well as handed them out at the Bus Stop. We also had fun handing them out at Disney and around the neighborhood at our Global Resort Home we stayed in. They were a huge hit not only with the kids – but the adults as well. Kinda shows that we never really grow out of loving little toys.
The Trash Packs come with 1 “Trashie” and 1 trash can as well as a guide for you to be able to look up your Trashie and see if it’s common or a rare Trashie. There are over 100 different “Trashies” to collect so chances are great that each Trash Pack you get will have something different inside.
The Glitzi Globes come with 1 dome, 1 base, 3 small floating pieces, 1 character, and 1 glitter tablet, and instructions. Just add water to make your very own Glitter Snow Globe that can be worn in Glitz Jewelry, displayed in the Showcase, and of course traded to get the entire collection of Glitzi Globes!
We have really enjoyed playing with the Glitzi Globes and even had fun giggling and gagging at the Trash Pack toys. (God knew what He was doing when he gave me girls… boys like those nasty little things.) It is fun to get a “surprise” every time you open a bag to see what is inside. They are also perfect to throw in Party Favor bags, Lunch Boxes, Overnight Bags, and of course – as Stocking Stuffers!
