Since the day I brought home home my three adorable kittens – which yes, we have decided to keep all three of instead of finding homes for – I have been like a new Mom buying all new toys, kitty condos, nifty feeding bowls – it's safe to say I have gone a bit overboard. It's been 10 years since I have had a cat in my home since my exhusband was deathly allergic (I should have seen that as a sign) so just like a new Mom I had to get “caught up” on all of the new gadgets and goodies out for kittens. One thing that I have ALWAYS remembered – the Meow Mix Jingle.
Meow Meow Meow Meow, Meow Meow Meow Meow, Meow Meow MEOW MEOW Meow Meow Meow Meow….
One of America’s Most Memorable Jingles is Returning for the Launch of Meow Mix Tender Centers™ Cat Food. The jingle returned to airwaves for the launch of the new Meow Mix Tender Centers™ cat food, the only dry cat food where every kibble is dual textured, where each kibble is crunchy on the outside with a meaty center.
“The Meow Mix Jingle brings back a sense of nostalgia and is a classic advertising spot that many people can even recite by memory,” said Sue Resnicoff, Director of Cat Food Marketing for Del Monte Foods. “In launching Meow Mix Tender Centers™, we are thrilled to bring back the jingle after so many years, reminding our consumers of that wistful feeling once again.”
Now, my babies are not quite old enough for the Meow Mix Tender Centers yet, but they will be soon. And my girls have been giggling and singing the Meow Mix Jingle since I played it for them. I still cant believe that it was SIXTEEN YEARS AGO that the jingle stopped airing – talk about a good way to show our age.
If you are a cat owner be on the lookout for the Meow Mix Jingle and check out the new Tender Centers available nationwide in Tuna & White Fish Flavors and Salmon & White Meat Chicken Flavors.
Disclaimer: I did receive a bag of Meow Mix Tender Centers to test out for this review but all opinions are my own… Sumo cant WAIT to try it.
