Pensacola is growing and expanding at a remarkable rate. Seems every other day we are seeing a new lot being cleared and anxiously awaiting the “coming soon” sign to tell us what new store or restaurant we are going to have. When we saw the land being cleared at Airport and Davis and saw a “coming soon” sign for the new Outback Steakhouse we could not have been more excited. Mike and I were frequent flyers at the Outback downtown, so to get one closer to home was super exciting. When I got the opportunity to team up and cover the new restaurant and offer two of my lucky readers a gift card, I was even more excited!
The new Outback Steakhouse is on the southeast corner of Davis and Airport – just across the street from Rooms to Go. It has an entrance on both main highways with makes it surprisingly easy to get in and out of despite being on such a busy intersection. The new Outback location is super convenient to the airport, both shopping malls, and even close to the interstate. The layout is different from the downtown location – but the food and friendly service is just the same. Since their doors opened we have gone… well more times than I care to admit.
One of the things I love most about Outback is how easy it is for me to stick to my low carb goals while there. If you have never had Outback’s steamed veggies – you absolutely must try them. Pair them up with your favorite protein and voila! Speaking of proteins – Outback has a ton to choose from. While they may be known for their amazing steaks, we have enjoyed chicken, pork chops, salmon and even shrimp – all absolutely delicious and at crazy reasonable prices. It is one of the reasons we love Outback so much.
This holiday season, check out the new Pensacola Outback location and while you are there, stock up on gift cards which are the perfect stocking stuffers for everyone on your list. Right now you can get a free $10 Bonus Card for every $50 you purchase in gift cards. You can give that Bonus Card as an extra gift – or keep it for yourself… ya know… bonus. Outback can even be ordered to go AND they even offer Aussie Party Platters to cater your next event.
Plus, from now through January 2, 2018, customers can add $1 to their check to be donated directly to Operation Homefront. Or, their donations of $5 or more will go toward donating a meal to a military family to celebrate the season.
One more thing! Don’t forget to tune into the Outback Bowl on January 1 on ESPN 2 at 12:00PM EST. If the South Carolina Gamecocks take home the trophy, Outback will give away free Bloomin’ Onions nationwide on January 2. If the Michigan Wolverines triumph, it will be free Coconut Shrimp for all. On January 2, just say “Outback Bowl” to your server to receive the free app.*
