The Seasonal Side of Sears
Today as part of a Collective Bias Social Shopper Insight Study I headed to our local Sears to check out what kind of Seasonal Items I could find to help me decorate the house and yard for the Holiday. I was delightfully surprised with the trip and have documented the entire thing with a Google+ Story you can check out here.
I have to admit, before today I never would have thought of Sears for my Holiday Shopping. Sure if I needed a tool or an appliance I would go to Sears, but I guess I have yet to wrap my head around the whole “Softer Side” of Sears they have been advertising for years. Today I shopped the “Seasonal” side and had a blast, plus I got some great yard ornaments for the yard, and a few other items I needed. I also shopped around at the Sears.com site and found a few other items that I didnt see in the store that made my Wish List.
It was a fun trip even by myself, and certainly changed my mind about thinking Sears was mostly tools and appliances. There is a “softer side”… and it is even softer on your wallet!
