A few weeks ago I shared with you my love for Jane Seymour’s Open Hearts Jewelry Collection from Kay Jewelers. This collection has been so dear to me as it came out during the toughest time of my life, and I have loved the message just as much as the pieces I have collected. This week I received a signed copy of The Wave – and inspirational book from Jane Seymour that is now available at Kay Jewelers as well and retails for only $9.99. Every page is filled with inspiration, hope, and love – as well as beautiful pictures of Jane’s own paintings. And if that wasn’t amazing enough – Kay Jewelers is also donating at least $2.00 from the sale of each book to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The Wave is separated in to different sections of life – family, relationship, friendship, faith, healthy, wealth, and more. It is a beautiful book perfect for anyone you know who might be facing a struggle or a trying time in their life. It also perfectly compliments the new Open Hearts Wave Collection – which I can not wait to share with you later this week. From the shiny embossed “wave” on the front to the very last page – you can see the message throughout the book.
“The cycle of life is so evident in the cyclical motion of the wave. It flows, it crests, it lets go, it takes experience with it as it joins new water and connects with all its wisdom to become a new wave.”
I wanted to share a few of my favorite pages in the book – and also I thought it was interesting that I was drawn to the pages with Jane’s iconic Open Hearts symbol. The first one – from the Relationship Waves – reminded me of the struggle that I was going through when I received my first Open Heart piece. Though I was the one who chose to leave my marriage, it was still an incredibly hard time for me. And now – six years later – I am engaged to be married to the kind of man I didnt think even existed outside of fairy tales.
Another page I loved was in the Family Waves – simply titled “You Are Not Alone.” I know when I have gone through tough times, the hardest part has been feeling alone – though honestly, looking back, I never was. I have been so fortunate to be surrounded by the most amazing friends and family in the world, and I am so grateful for every one of them. When you are dealing with heartache, sometimes it is hard to admit that you need help or that you are not always strong… it can be very isolating. This page was a beautiful reminder that we are never alone, and we always – always – have someone there who will love us, we just have to be willing to let them in.
Check out Kay Jewelers and pick up your own copy of The Wave, and one for a friend going through a tough time. You can feel good about giving the gift of inspiration, as well as helping the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. And while you are there check out the Open Hearts Wave Collection – it is sure to capture your heart the way it has captured mine.
Disclosure: I received a sign copy of this book for the purpose of writing this post.
