And while I save indulging in my favorite sweet vino now only for special occasions, I do still love an adult beverage pretty regularly. My newest favorite - the Keto Mojito.
I am only a little embarrassed to admit that I believe a good part of my success with keto is in part to still be able to have the occasional cocktail. I am Moscato Mom after all.
Now let me begin by saying there is a school of thought that NO alcohol can be considered keto... and I respect that.
But I also feel like in order for any lifestyle to work, it has to be one that you can effectively do for the rest of your life... and for me, that is going to involve some cocktails.
So for that reason, I work my occasional cocktail into my macros... and have still been successful. It is a win-win.Also, if you are not familiar with Saucey, ths Keto Mojito is a great opportunity to check it out! Saucey has Tito's, Absolut, Smirnoff, and more! Erm ... the ingredients list suggests using Splenda, but the method mentions Stevia!? Which is correct (and will the amount differ depending upon which is used)?

Ia m sorry - they should both have said "sweetener" - not either brand name. And the measurements should be the same - I use them interchangeably. Some ketoers are sensitive to Splenda and prefer Stevia. 🙂
Excellent! I used Rum instead of Vodka cuz Vodka gives me a major headache in the morning. I also used Xylitol as my sweetener. Great recipe!
