So what feels like the longest election in history will be coming to an end in just a few days... thank.goodness. Regardless of which side you are on I think we can all agree that it has been a rough campaign for everyone, and I personally am looking forward to logging in to Facebook to see people's food pics again. But first we must get through next Tuesday, so here are a few delicious Red, White, And Boozy Cocktails made with delicious,zero-calorie, Sparkling Ice that may make the evening a little more... tolerable.
Red, White & Boozy Cocktails for Election Night
1 Part Reisling
1 Part Pomegranate Blueberry Sparking Ice
Pomegranate Seeds
Cranberries
Teaspoon Agave
Mint
Mix all in a pitcher, pour into wine glasses and add a mint leaf garnish.
Civic Cherry Cognac
1 Part Cognac
1 Part Black Cherry Sparkling Ice
Pour over ice into rocks glass and garnish with a cherry.
Stars, Stripes & Sage
1 Part Coffee Liqueur
2 Parts Black Raspberry Sparkling Ice
Splash of Heavy Cream
Sage Leaf (to garnish)
Mix coffee liqueur and Black Raspberry Sparkling Ice in a cocktail glass. Just before serving, gently add cream and garnish with a sage leaf.
